Who can join?

Membership in the Boston Chapter is open to anyone of any age who has a passion for aviation!

To be an active member of the chapter, you must be a Women in Aviation International member in good standing and current on your yearly chapter dues.

What kind of activities does the chapter host and participate in?

The chapter focuses on 3 types of events: member development and career advancement, friendship, and community outreach.

Our chapter has held and participated in a variety of events, including résumé-building and mentorship sessions, volunteering with local Girl Scout troops, aviation-themed paint nights, holiday parties, air traffic control tours, and more. Our biggest event of the year is Girls in Aviation Day, held every September to inspire and encourage the next generation of aviators.

Where does the chapter meet?

The chapter hosts events all around New England with a focus on the Greater Boston area. Past event locations have included Hudson, Beverly, Salem, Concord, and Bedford, MA; Nashua, NH; and Portland, ME.

In addition to in-person gatherings, the chapter also occasionally hosts virtual meetings to stay connected and accessible to all members.
